The private rest / dining Balinese "Bales" (thatched roof, open
pavilions) that come with each of our villas at Agung Bali Nirwana,
are definitely one of the best features of our eco-friendly resort.
Surrounded by lotus / lily / fish ponds, both for visual effect
and as a natural barrier against insects. These wonderful areas
catch the very best of the sea breezes. If the sea breeze is too
strong, they have strong "iron wood" roller blinds that
add to the visual effect too. If the sea breeze is not strong
enough, each bale has a ceiling fan (out of photo view) that is
strong enough to blow paper napkins off the table if you want
it too.
At night, the whole atmosphere (figuratively and
literally) of the bales and the private villas resort changes.
The heat of the day gives in to the cool of the evening. The powerful
blue skies and sunlight give way to the soft lights (solar powered,
candle lit and other) of the villas / grounds. The dragonfly that
dance around the ponds rest on nearby water plants. And the frogs
start their evening chorus; their song is a lot different to the
frogs you find in most western climates - it is almost as if they
were specially trained for make it feel even more like Bali. To see 360 degree virtual tours of our villa bales, villa grounds, villa interiors and facilities
