Here you can see just how close our beautiful swimming pool is to the beach, and how clean our beach is (and free from hawkers / salespeople - we get none!). You can also see the "Penjor" (ceremonial bamboo canes decorated with dried palm leaf "dollies"), swaying inland from the sea breeze.

Our grounds are actually 2 meters above the beach level. So we have optimum privacy if you wish to expose your flesh to the warm sun. Our sea defenses also have two sets of steps, down to the beach, to give you easy access to the clear blue waters below. Can you see a good spot under the shade of a palm tree to set up one of our deck chairs for the day?! This photo was taken in August 2002, just before the grounds were finally finished / lush and green / the outdoor furniture put out.
