This is one of the three villas' master, en suite bathrooms. We call them
the "Lombok Rooms". Not out of any disrespect to Lombok, but
because they have Lombok face masks and plant pots everywhere. These bathrooms
are huge. You can only see about half the bathroom here. Hidden behind
the sink wall, is the WC. And just prior to the left hand side shower area,
is a Balinese style garden bathroom area with a difference. Rather then
being open, we have used crinkle glass bricks to incredible effect (to
allow the light, but not the bugs in), a screened ventilation area so
it does not get to steamy! Plus a large number of Lombok pots adorn the
marble floor with a veritable selection of tropical plants therein!
You can just make out the oversized chrome
Italian shower head. But what you can not see is how good the shower is. With
assisted pressure through oversized pipes and an overrated Rheem (highest
quality) water heater. The sensation / pleasure is absolutely incredible.
Add this to the fact all the water coming into the villas is first filtered
by a 3 process, drinking water quality system (including carbon filters
and UV / Ultraviolet). Then, you can imagine how good the water is. That's
right, it's good enough to drink!
We actually did not do this so you can drink
the water (although you are welcome), we provide a water cooler with complimentary
spring water for that. But rather so no sediments reach the shower / tap
(faucet) mixers, and so there is no chance you will get a bad stomach
from any plates / cups you wash and then reuse still wet.
The second bathrooms in the villas (the ones
that the second and children's bedrooms share) are very similar to this.
But smaller, and without garden areas. They do have the same shower heads
however. And all of our bathrooms benefit from some of the finest terry
cotton towels (oversized, of course) you will find anywhere. To see a 360 degree virtual tour of the Lombok bathrooms
