| The villa floors are made from quality "low vein" Javanese marble throughout. The furniture is solid teak wood. All of the windows have specially made, hand woven, natural yarn curtains (except one kitchen window, which has wooden venetian blinds). The villa roofs are made of tile and they have internal ceilings (to compliment the "minimalist" design and put off insects, etc.). The interior walls of the villas are graced with the finest carvings, fabrics (including Songket, Double Ikat / Gringsing and silks), ceremonial dance masks and Wayan Kulit puppets.
All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with louvered air conditioning covers. The master and queen sized bedroom have 4 poster beds, while the third bedroom has twin bunk beds. All beds are graced with the finest, natural Javanese cotton mosquito nets, imported USA posture mattresses, finest brushed Egyptian cotton sheets, hand woven blankets and goose down / duck feather pillows. Bed-side tables, reading lamps and electric fans also add to guest comfort. |
