One of our guests, after having been so impressed with our villas and having stayed previously at a number of luxury Bali hotels suggested we publish any guest reports (with their permission of course) that compared us with any well known hotels in Bali. At first we though this might be taken the wrong way by some, but this guest suggested that many people were wary of staying at Balinese Villas like ours, as they somehow think they are getting less in the way of facilities and service for their money.

Of course, we had trouble believing / understanding this as we know we actually provide a greater level and number of facilities, comfort, recreational activities and gourmet food then most luxury Balinese hotels ever can (not least because we have such high staff to guest ratios). "But they don't know this unless you tell them" he replied. It is a true story, and we realized what he was telling us is true too. So this page / section on our web site with hotel comparisons was born!

However, rather than ask previous guests to compare us to any luxury Bali hotels they may have stayed at, which again might be taken the wrong way, we decided just to add such reports when guests of ours posted them of any of the travel forums on the Internet, and after we obtained their permission. That way we could avoid trying to, or having it suggested that were trying to unduly influence them. So, our Bali Hotels list may be small right now, but we have every hope it will be growing very soon!
