If you look closely, you can just make out our swimming pool on the beach. But you are going to have to look harder to find any other evidence of mankind, or at least their structures here! For miles, you can see nothing but coconut palms, mango trees and clear blue waters. This is the true Bali, where life goes on as it did before the tourist boom, predominantly in the south. Here you will find Bali without the tarnish large numbers of tourists inevitably bring. Here you will find people that do not look on you as tourists with cash to spend. They look on you as visitors to their Island of the Gods. Further West, just out of view is Tejakula, and beyond that, about 45 minutes drive away is Singaraja.
